Forbes released its list of highest-paid actors in Hollywood, tallying up earnings between May 2011 and 2012.
And it finally brought some good news for Tom Cruise this week, who, despite his divorce drama of the past week, tops the list.
Also making the cut are a long list of stars with big movie franchises. People go out to see the familiar whether in a returning kiddie flick, or an action movie that's churning out a third or fourth film more than a decade later.
Left off the list include Brad Pitt, George Clooney. And Robert Pattinson just misses the mark at number 11.
10. Taylor Lautner: $26 million
Shocked? The 20-year-old "Twilight" star has more than his werewolf role going for him. Lautner also starred in action flick "Abduction" which grossed $82 million worldwide on an estimated $35 million budget.
Next summer, Lautner will set his sights on comedy as he stars alongside Adam Sandler in the sequel to "Grown Ups."
9. Mark Wahlberg: $27 million
Wahlberg can conquer action films and comedies with "The Fighter," "Contraband" and box-office topper "Ted."
Next, the actor is packing on the pounds for film, "Pain and Gain."
8. Will Smith: $30 million
"The Men In Black" series can do no wrong for Smith. The third film in the franchise has earned more than $600 million worldwide at theaters in six weeks.
Next, Smith will star in sci-fi film "After Earth" with son Jayden.
