17. Stevie Wonder is arguably the most powerful solo artist in the world, having won more Grammy Awards than any other singer and secured a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1996. Wonder became a vegan in 2015, and even sung about it on James Corden's "The Late Late Show."

16. In 2015, Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of blood testing firm Theranos, was ranked as Forbes' richest self-made woman with a net worth of £3.68 billion, a figure which dropped to £653 million the following year after the firm was hit with allegations of test inaccuracy. In December 2014, the New Yorker described Holmes as a vegan who "several times a day drinks a pulverized concoction of cucumber, parsley, kale, spinach, romaine lettuce, and celery."

15. As the second-highest paid actor in the world after Harrison Ford, Samuel L. Jackson is one of the richest vegans in Hollywood. He adopted a plant-based diet in August 2013, saying that he wanted to "live forever."
