One of London's most exclusive five-star hotels, The Royal Horseguards Hotel was recently named a "Recommended Hotel" by Forbes Travel Guide for the second year in a row.
In addition to being an award-winning hotel, it has a fascinating history as the former home and office of the first MI6 chief, Sir Mansfield Cumming.
Cumming lived in the 19th-century building adjoined to the hotel between 1911-1921, while the Secret Intelligence Bureau used the building as its headquarters during the First World War.
The lavish five-star hotel on London's Embankment has 282 bedrooms (with prices starting at £183 for a deluxe double room) and five extravagant suites with breathtaking city views, as well as a critically acclaimed restaurant, swanky cocktail bar, a terrace overlooking the Thames, and more.
Take a look inside the hotel below.
The hotel is housed in a French chateau-style, Grade I-listed building that was erected in 1844. The hotel, located near Westminster, is operated by Guoman Hotels.

Guests are greeted in an extravagant lobby with warm, homely features such as a fireplace as well as glitzy chandeliers.

The hotel's flagship Tower Suite offers guests a 270-degree panoramic view of London from its windows.
